Dear Folks:
Just a short note as we are about to leave and I want to write Deva before we leave.
We are leaving for Esch, Germany this morning. It is the largest town in Luxembourg and we are surely pleased to get the chance to go there. We are only about sixty kilometers from there now here at Jarny. Of course, that doesn't sound much like going home right away but this is a regular vacation and as long as we have to stay over here we are pleased to do this until we are called in to go home with our division.
Have had a fine time here in Jarny - fine place to stay and good eats and nice opera house and basketball court all in the same building.
We played at Mars-le-Tour last night. It is about seven kilometers from here. Our show certainly goes over fine and every act has to come back three and four times and we are getting lots of calls from other places but we are going to Germany now and then south to France and until we are called in.
Am feeling fine and getting along fine.
Hope you received the $25 all right. I may not get to send any this month as we haven't been paid yet but if I don't get to send it this month I'll send $50 next month. We may get paid while on the road. We left two days before pay-day and that is why we missed it, but of course we will get paid when we get in if not before.
